Frontwire has in place and undertakes to maintain
appropriate technical and organisational measures against the accidental,
unauthorised or unlawful processing, destruction, loss, damage or disclosure
of data. Likewise, adequate security programs and procedures are in place
to ensure that unauthorised persons do not have access to the data or
to any equipment used to process the data.
| Issues |
Measures |
| Physical security of host
environment |
Our core servers are hosted at a Globix
colocation centre with 24-hour manned security, surveillance
cameras, photograph ID badges with smart chips, biometric devices
for accessing secure areas, and complete physical redundancy of power,
cooling units and backup generators. |
| Protecting client data from
unauthorised access or manipulation |
The database servers themselves are accessed only
through our middleware layer which enforces role-based access control and auditing. |
| Protecting client data from
corruption |
Database server disks are mirrored
to seamlessly recover from disk hardware failures, and the databases are regularly copied to
seperate hardware to provide a historical snapshot that can be retrieved if data loss is
discovered. |
